Treatment steps:

Besides, workers should be organized to put electrolyte blocks, bags of calcium fluoride or magnesium fluoride and other raw materials into the furnace at the same time to forcibly build side groove to plug the leak.''
 
The problem that should pay attention to in processing
Attention: 1. When lowering the anode, it is limited to the seat to the bottom of the tank or on the crust. Do not forcibly lower the anode, so as not to damage the upper structure of the tank.In addition, 1~2 sets of anodes can be lowered to lower the voltage of the tank.2. Strengthen unified command, pay attention to safety and prevent personal accidents;3. At the same time, be prepared for single slot power off.4. After the accident rescue, it shall immediately determine whether to stop the trough for overhaul or not. If the trough age is long and the damage is serious, then the single trough power shall be cut off immediately.If the groove age is short and the damaged area is small, it is possible to resume production after filling, magnesia, calcium oxide, precipitation and other materials can be used to fill the damaged area, and then resume production.
 
Preventive measures
The leakage furnace not only has the harm to the operation of the electrolytic cell, the leakage of high temperature electrolytes or aluminum water may damage the cathode bus, burn down the lower equipment of the tank, and affect the whole series of production.Therefore, in the production must be careful to operate equipment, operators training and management, regular equipment maintenance, avoid leakage furnace.
