1 Introduction of Anode Rod (Stem)
The Anode Rod (Stem),is also be called Aluminum Stem Anode Rod,Aluminium Anode Rod (Stem),aluminium rod,etc,it is the conductor of the Anode carbon block. The structure is divided into three parts: the Anode Rod (Stem), the anode steel claws part and theElectrical Steel-Alu Transition Joints. It is an important loss component of the prebake electrolytic cell production. The Anode Rod (Stem) is made of first-grade aluminum and aluminum alloy. The length of the Anode Rod (Stem) is usually 2000~2200mm. The cross section is rectangular. The size depends on the current of the aluminum rod. The current density is 35~40A/ Cm2. Commonly used Anode Rod (Stem) have a rectangular or square cross-sectional area. The Anode Rod (Stem) is in contact with the horizontal large busbar and needs to be processed. It is required to be straight and smooth, and the surface has less oxide film to reduce the contact resistance.
